Varsity Head

​

Coach Gibson is entering his first year with the Worthington Kilbourne Girls Soccer program, bringing a wealth of high-level playing and coaching experience to the Wolves. His soccer background includes time with the Columbus Crew Academy, along with coaching experience across multiple collegiate and club programs.

​

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Gibson has developed a passion for player development, competitive excellence, and building a strong team culture. He is excited to bring that experience to Worthington Kilbourne, connect with the student-athletes, and help continue building a program the players, families, and Kilbourne community can be proud of.

​

Coach Gibson is excited to lead the next chapter of Wolves Soccer and looks forward to a great season ahead.

Varsity Assistant 

​

Coach Bell brings more than 26 years of coaching experience and a wealth of soccer knowledge to the Wolves program. He began his coaching career in 1998 as a Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Washington High School in Phoenix, Arizona, and has continued to develop and mentor players at both the high school and club levels.

​

Throughout his coaching career, Coach Bell has worked with several local clubs, including Express FC, Worthington United, and Confluence SC. His extensive experience, knowledge of the game, and strong leadership make him a valuable part of the Kilbourne Girls Soccer coaching staff.

Coach Bell is committed to creating a positive, competitive environment where players are challenged to grow, work together, and develop both as athletes and teammates.

Junior Varsity​

​

Coach Kayla is a proud graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School (’19) and a former member of the Wolves girls soccer program. Having played soccer since the age of five, Kayla developed a lifelong passion for the game that carried through her time at Kilbourne, where she served as a team captain during her senior year.

​

Now in her fourth year coaching at WKHS, Kayla is excited to give back to the program that played such an important role in her own soccer journey. She enjoys helping the next generation of Wolves grow as players, teammates, and competitors while continuing to build on the tradition of Kilbourne Girls Soccer.

Junior Varsity

Coach Ryan is a dedicated soccer coach focused on developing confident, skilled players and building a strong team culture. He has served as a Head Coach with Worthington United Soccer Club since 2022, emphasizing trust, accountability, teamwork, and individual growth.

​

Coach Ryan holds a U.S. Soccer D License and believes coaching extends beyond the game itself. His approach emphasizes helping young athletes develop confidence, resilience, discipline, and character—qualities that contribute to success both on and off the field.

​

Ryan is excited to be part of the Kilbourne Girls Soccer program and looks forward to contributing to its tradition while building strong relationships with the players, coaches, and Kilbourne soccer community.
